The extended and full Day Safaris take longer periods of 4-5 hours and are more ideal for more experienced riders as they traverse rugged terrain to reach vantage points like the Warukiri hill range, where riders can enjoy 360-degree views of the park’s hills, valleys and surrounding lakes.
Overnight Horseback Safaris
The overnight horse back safaris are ideal for true adventure seekers as they go camping in the bush close to the lakes with meals and overnight stays under the African sky where they get exceptional wilderness experiences.
Horse back Riding Requirements
Weight limit: Up to about 95–100 kg, depending on the horse’s carrying capacity. Not all horses can carry the full 100 kgs.
Before the ride, the riders are usually weighed to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the horses as they traverse from one point to another in the park watching many wildlife animals.
